utilization of information technology in schools


Media use of ICT-based learning is not easy. In using these media should pay attention to some of the techniques used to media that can be utilized with maximum and not deviate from the goal,. Arief S. Sadiman (1996: 83) says that:
a. Media Learning to Use Computers
Computer applications in the process of learning enables an individual learning (individual learning). Computer user can interact directly with the source of information. The development of (computer network / Internert) network computer technology, has enabled the current user should interact in acquiring knowledge and the desired information directly. Various forms of learning interaction can take place with the availability of the computer medium. Some distance education institutions in several countries that have been developed, using this medium as a means of interaction. Utilization is based on the ability possessed by the computer in providing feedback (feedback) is immediately to the user should. Examples of Internet usage are:

b. Use of Computer Network to Learning Activities

Computer networks can be designed so that lecturers / teachers can communicate with the student / student and student / student can learn to interact with students / other students. The interaction of learning by using computer networks not only can be done individually, but also in groups. Utilization of computer networks in distance education system is also known by the term Computer Conferencing System (CCF). This system is usually done through electronic mail (email). Some of the excess use of computer networks in distance education system are:
